JUMBO Consulting Group is seeking a Procurement Manager with experience in offshore wind and more specifically, the WTG package. You will join our business to support leading developers with supply chain development, category management, and the planning, implementation, and execution of procurement strategies.

Role & Responsibility

Your role will entail the development and implementation of supply chain and procurement strategy, entering into contracts with the right suppliers on pricing and terms of delivery supporting realisation of the project in accordance with defined success criteria and the Project Procurement Strategy.

    • Develop procurement strategies and plans.
    • Manage and conduct supplier pre-qualification.
    • Draft and negotiate supply and installation contracts for the WTG package of an offshore wind farm.
    • Draft, Manage and conduct tender evaluation, negotiations and prepare award recommendation.
    • Provide procurement advice to projects management team.
    • Contract management, supplier follow-up and contract close-out.
    • Manage and coordinate the flow of information internally and externally keeping all stakeholders informed on progress.

    Who are we looking for?

    We are seeking an experienced supply chain, procurement and/or contract management professional that is aligned to our vision and excited by the opportunities and challenges of working in a rapidly expanding international business. Ideally you will have:

    • A background and experience in supply chain and procurement management within the renewable energy industry, supported by relevant educational qualifications.
    • Experience in a similar procurement management role, ideally within the WTG package.
    • Strategic flair to ensure JUMBO success and development.
    • Good communication skills.
    • Strong relationship building skills internally as well as externally.
    • Motivated to grow with the company and in the position.

    Team & Colleagues:

    • Work closely and in collaboration with JUMBO’s growing UK team and the client(s) project team(s)
    • You will also work closely with the wider JUMBO organisation that currently consists of 63 persons across Denmark, UK, Germany, Poland, Norway, Australia, Korea and Taiwan.
